Lowless & Lowless are always keen to take the opportunity to play an active part in the development of Pembrokeshire’s future workforce. As well as being an excellent way to learn about general aspects of the workplace, it also provides an excellent opportunity to gain an appreciation of working life in a busy law practice.
We offer three different work experience programmes depending on the background and aims of the individual:
School work experience
This programme has the following aims:
- to give experience of the workplace and to help you prepare for the transition from school to work
- to improve understanding of industrial and commercial life
- to create ways of thinking and behaving appropriate to the workplace
- to increase self-confidence and independence
- to enhance communication skills
- to improve capacity to work in co-operation with others
- to create greater awareness of your potential
The programme usually runs for one week during the summer holidays and is unpaid.

Undergraduate short placement
Probably suited to individuals who are considering a career in a Law Practice and would like to experience it first hand.

Undergraduates/Graduate long placement
Best suited to individuals who have already decided that they would like to pursue a career within a law firm and are aiming to gain valuable practical experience.
This programme usually runs for ten weeks during the summer holidays and is paid. Please note – there are a limited number of places available.
