Training Contracts

Lowless & Lowless Solicitors has a long history of providing training opportunities and regularly recruits graduates for training contracts.

The Training Contract

The training contract normally takes place over 2 years, during which time the trainee is able to experience 3-4 areas of work, spending 6-9 months in each Department (as detailed below).

We normally have two Trainees (one in their first year, one in their second) at any one time, with applicants coming both from within the firm and outside.  Trainees are expected to be able to work from any of our offices across Pembrokeshire during the Training Contract.  We will try to match the trainee to their preferences wherever possible.  The trainee works closely with a partner or qualified solicitor in each seat.  The aim is to get trainees working flexibly at an early stage whilst still maintaining a supportive level of supervision.
